Aah.. At the tick of 12 o'clock later, 2008 will be history. Say "hello" to 2009 in your calendar. Time seem to pass really fast. Felt as thought I just came to MMU a few months ago. Happy moments do zoom by us.. What is important is that we keep each and every of the sweet memories in our mind. Bring them forward to the next year. Then what about bad memories? Well.. that is bad debt. Throw it away!!! ^.^

Significant events in 2008 (the top 15):
1. I am 21 years old!! Woo hoo!!! I can get married already! Opps.. I forgot I don't have a girlfriend yet. Oh ya. My 21st birthday is VERY memorable. Coz of.. (still a "start engine" topic)
2. I am a 2nd year student! Gosh.. Left 1 and half years to play..
3. Learned Japanese. Watashiwa kokhongdesu!
4. Moved to HB2. My neighbours are Winson & Alex.. N I C E ! ! !
5. Created two more blogs. AFC & House de Recipe
6. Strengthen my position as Blow Water King. 2 perfect score in hand..
7. Economic crisis. Bank account balance nearing ZERO. Play too much.. T.T
8. Planned & organize numerous birthday celebrations (11 in total)
9. For the first time in my 21 years of life, I FINALLY know my blood type. B. Can I change to A? Hehe.
10. Earn money for the FIRST time in my life with my OWN effort. RM13.60. N I C E ! ! !
11. Seem to be more distance with my old friends.. Sigh..
12. Improved my relationship with .... We are finally talking face to face!!! ^.^
13. Fired by my ex-boss. Takpe pun.. Now I become boss pula. (berlagak)
14. Trips to Singapore, Genting, Melaka, Penang. Super duper enjoying trips. More to come.

Now for the last one.. (save the best for last) Guess you guys have a bit of idea already..
15. The creation of AFC (Accounting Fun Club) The best club ever in my life!!! Next year is going to be our 1st club anniversary. Planning a MEGA celebration. ^.^ Without AFC, my life will be super boring. Trips, birthdays, aktiviti syok-sendiri, yumcha + meeting, weekly outing.. Just can't wait for the holidays to come! ^.^

2008 is a year full of events, up & downs, laughter, joy but also tears. It is also a year which I improved my talking skills. Below is a list of new words/terms/phrase that I learned from friends.
1. Pattern - Used to describe any cute/funny/zha dao/stupid actions that you do.
2. "Hello" KahSeng style - Can be use to irritate people. Also works to attract attention.
3. 我给你炸到一百下 (Wo gei ni zha dao yi bai xia) - To express your super duper "zha dao"ness. Can use 一千下 if it is too "pain".
4. Usage of 个 in daily speeches - Examples : 冲一个凉 (take bath)
吃一个饭 (dinner) 睡一个觉 (sleep)
5. On la.. On la.. - Used as a sign of agreement for activities
6. Ubat gigi - It means medicine for toothache. I wonder what is toothpaste in BM. Cecair Gosok Gigi?
7. Anohito - Boyfriend, Girlfriend
8. Start engine - start talking

Now for the Number ONE word of 2008..
NOOB!!!!
Basically it is used to say, "You are stupid/useless/sampat." It gained the number ONE spot as it is the most widely used word in MMU. It has the most flexible usage among all words. Describe an action, place, vehicle, activity, whatever. It can also be use to name a person. Just add -ie behind. Noobie. (Pronounced as "nu-bi") Quite a nice name actually. Maybe I will name my dog Noobie next time. Hehe

The feelings are for an accumulation of all the things that is happening to me now.. Didn't wanted to post this blog.. but then "a friend of mind" changed my mind.

Ever wonder why I don't date anyone or try to court anyone in MMU? Well the answer is simple.. As the title had given hint to you.. Yup.. The girl in the photo is my girlfriend of 8 years already. (Since Form 2) ^.^ Sorry to all girls who secretly admired me until now for not telling you all sooner.. Gomenasai.. After 1 and a half years in MMU, I finally have the bravery and courage to reveal my "anohito" in public.. Pheww.. Relief.. relief..

I was just kidding!!!
She is my best friend of 9 years. Not my girlfriend. And I don't think she can be one as well.. We are too close to become a couple. Took the photo after breakfast with her on 26/12. Its been almost half a year since I last saw her. Really miss her very much. It is so hard to meet her. Its like everytime I go back Teluk Intan, she will go KL or return to UTM and vice versa. Sigh..

So what have we been through in this 8 years? Seriously it seem like she follow my footsteps..
First of all, we have the same surname. That is why I have been telling people that she is my sister.
Joined St John and become boss.
Become prefect and get high post. (though not as high as me =p)
Have excellent results in PMR and SPM but an embarassing STPM result. Haha.
Oh ya.. Being heart broken at the same period as well. Listening to the song "Hurt" by Christina Aguilera and sing "Zui Jing" by Lee Sin Jie together.. T.T
We practically have a same lifestyle and school life experience.
And she did learn a lot from me. Especially on the topic "How to become a successful Bad People?" We really did a lot of "kan chan" (cantonese) thing while we are young.

Our 9th anniversary is coming up next month. But then I don't think we have the chance to meet. Anyway will work hard for it to happen!!!

That's was my shout out in my MSN during and after Christmas. So what exactly did I do during Christmas that make me so excited and happy that time?

830am Morning call by ShiYun. Woke up in a blur2 mode. Slept at 4am the night before.

915am Start my DimSum journey in Seri Kembangan. Members : Me, ShiYun, ChiewShi, Winson. Actually planned to have AFC meeting with SY and CS but then feel weird with Winson's presence. Anyway we DID came out with a solution for our club's problem and everyone is happy about that. ^.^ A normal breakfast with nothing much to share.

10.30am Two "aunties" wanted to go pasar to buy something. So I brought them to the pasar in Seri Kembangan. Aunty ShiYun wanted to buy pork while Aunty ChiewShi is just excited to go to the pasar. I don't know why.. Reached the Pasar and Winson told me that we are in Chinatown as there is CNY songs playing. They seem to be very excited to see "so many Chinese" at the same time. Haha. The "aunties" were super duper happy when they saw the pork seller. It is as though their eyes are shining. Hehe. Walked the whole pasar in a happy mood. Why are we so happy to be a pasar? I really don't know.

What did we buy?
Shiyun - Herbs for Bak Kut Teh, pork
Winson - Roasted pork, small mandarin orange, chrysanthemum tea
Kok Hong - Kuih Apom Balik
Chiew Shi - Amazingly she didn't buy anything. But she DID buy something when she go to the pasar AGAIN on 27/12/2008

On the way to Jusco : Ate Winson's mandarin orange as it was still cold. Best ate when it is cold.

12pm Jusco Equine Park. Aunty ChiewShi wanted to buy Dynamo. When we first arrived, I went to the toilet to wash my hand. Funny thing is.. Winson was following me all the time and even washed his hand beside me. So what's so funny about that? Well.. I ah.. Didn't NOTICE him at all!!! I didn't realised he was with me all the time. The poor kid was waiting in front of the toilet for 10 minutes. He thought I was still inside.. Felt sorry for him though.. Walked in Jusco for around 30 minutes. Came out EMPTY HANDED, initially.. ChiewShi didn't buy her Dynamo as planned as it was quite expensive but then Winson bought his supply of biscuits to last him during the exam break while ChiewShi bought Minyak Cap Helang.

1pm Reached MMU and prepare to go back hometown..

So DimSum, market and Jusco.. What is so special about that? I really don't know. Maybe it is Xmas. Or maybe I am just in a jovial mood that day. I was just happy, happy and happy that day. The same thing goes to ShiYun and ChiewShi. I really can't understand why we are so happy about it. Maybe it is because it is the three of us hanging out. Winson was not as happy as we are though. He said, "I also don't know you all so high for what." Guess he can't become No. 3 yet huh?

Again.. many thanks to ShiYun, ChiewShi and Winson for the Chinese-styled-Christmas celebration. Really enjoy the day. ^.^

Was supposed to be back hometown on the Xmas Eve, but then I didn't buy my ticket and thus end up spending Xmas Eve alone in the room, intially.. Until my "members" are willing to change their own plan and accompany me to celebrate the best Xmas yet in my life.. Woo hoo!!! ^.^ So five of us went to The Curve (first time going there for all "sua ku" [hokkien] people) for the so-called-countdown. >.<

Up until now, 5 of us were quite dissappointed as there is no event for counting down. We thought there might be an event or something as many people said they will go counting down at The Curve. But then all we can see is people walking around and taking photos. Still don't understand why people went there for count down.. Anyway we moved to CineLeisure next to buy movie tickets and search for food.

But then we end up..
Playing spray foam!! Just look at us!! Foam all over us.. Meet my Red Crescent junior there. Asked him to take a photo for us.. But..

Conclusion of going The Curve:
1) No event is organised to count down. So end up 5 of us need to countdown ourselves. >.<
2) Getting sprayed all over my body. Got free perfume that night.. from the foam of course.
So.. I am definitely not going there AGAIN next time.. @.@ At least not for Xmas..

Felt hungry after the celebration, so we decided to go to Klang for Bak Kut Teh. However due to the time and distance, we changed our mind and end up in SS2, PJ. Went to Murni (a super popular mamak restaurant) for supper.. Also the first time of all 5 of us.. Really "sua ku" lo..

Super damn nice. Something like Murtabak but the inside is filled with chunks of chicken, egg and sausage. RM5 only..

Mee Raja
It doesn't look delicious at all. But don't be fooled by its look. It tastes super nice!!! Definitely going to Murni again next sem. Hehe. Oh ya.. it was RM7 per plate. A bit expensive but I don't mind paying the price. ^.^

So that's how my Chirstmas Eve is spent.. Christmas celebration coming up next. Gonna be a special one to me..

What the heck? What is wrong being alone on a Xmas eve? Adui.. They made me feel as if I committed a super big crime for staying in the room for Xmas eve. Seriously, its been quite sometime since I last celebrated Xmas eve or Xmas. I am not a Christian and living in a small town doesn't help either. People there don't celebrate extravagantly. Unlike in KL or Singapore where you can see a lot of nice decoration around. I can only vividly remember that I had present on Xmas when I was in kindergarden. After I knew that Santa Claus is FAKE, mum stopped buying Xmas present for me. Wuwu.. T.T Should have believe Santa existed until now, shouldn't I?

Oh ya.. Kok Hong <-- Poor kid.. Dun have a date tonight..

Came back from Disaster Relief & Rescue Operation camp yesterday (might blog about it). I was dead tired then. When I reached my room, I knocked on the door as my hands were full with stuffs. Rumate (I call my roommate "rummate" instead of his name, Ivan ^.^) opened the door and I was SHOCKED!!

The desktop is definitely not mine!!! I use laptop!!

This is what I saw when the door was opened... My WORST NIGHTMARE!!! 3 person in a SMALL ROOM!!!! >.<

I was like, "What the F***?!?!?!"
Rumate said, "Yeah, we got a new roomate. Was trying to call you but you didn't bring your handphone. He moved in last friday."

Dang!!! Walao!! Sien!!! Mother Chicken him!!! ARGGGGHHHHHHH >.<

Really hate having another roommate. Sudahlah bilik kecil.. Ini tambah satu lagi orang menyempitkan lagi bilik.. Cilaka.. I had been staying with 1 roommate since the very first day I came to MMU. Felt so comfortable with just 1 roommate. He has his half I have my half. Just like "river water don't disturb well water" (chinese proverb) But now I got sea water in our life!! >.<

I really need a lot of space in the room and being "big" (I am LONG), I need space to walk as to not knock into anything. Before this, I had 2 tables. Computer + Eating + Sing K table and my Study + Ironing table. Now that "He" ("He" will thereinafter be used as substitute for roomate) came in.. I had only ONE table. A SMALL one in that matter!! I called it.. Cesski (pronounced as "Ces Ski"). A combination of Computer Eating Study Sing K Ironing.

Rumate also dislike having another "He" in the room as he too had been living with 1 "He" before this. Before I could ask anything about the new "He", rumate complained that this new "He" used his stuff even before getting know each other. Walao.. I really need to keep my things properly. If not "He" will steal drink my Milo, use my things without my permission. Does that phrase sounds familiar to you? O.<

Anyway when I woke up this morning, "He" was not in the room. As I am writing this blog, "He" was not here as well. Haven't talk to him at all since yesterday. We only "Hi"ed each other when he came back yesterday. (I was busy playing game that time. Hehe) Then I thought, well.. this is a reality.. Nothing can be changed. Just live with it. Adjust a bit of my things. Keep all unneccessary things in the box. Arrange my books and stuff properly. Important thing is space maximation. Don't make my life miserable and live a happy life..

I had been wanting to blog about this topic long ago.. So since I am so free today (no class whole day).. Here I am.. introducing AFC to you who doesn't know of its existence.


AFC here stands for Accounting Fun Club by which members are consisting of only MMU Accounting students and participation is STRICTLY via invitation. (Even higher requirement than joining Golden Key) Formed during the first semester of 2008/2009 (around July 2008) this club now consists of approximately 20 members (the number varies depending on the type of activities) with a few sleeping members though. The best thing about this club is that we don't have any adviser and this club's projects or activities doesn't need any approval from anyone except family member's approval. Nak buat apa.. buat sajalah.. Asalkan happy sudah.. Hehe. Sound funs? Well of course it is FUN. We are.. after all a FUN club.. ^.^

Okay so what is our activites? Well the main purpose of the creation of the club is for celebrating birthdays of our members. But that's not all. We are currently actively organising trips and tours to various places of interest in Malaysia and overseas as well. Among those we had "conquered" are Singapore, Genting, Melaka, Penang. We are currently working on future trips to Perak, Pulau Tioman/Perhentian/Redang/Langkawi and also overseas project like Bali and Phuket. Last but not least.. members of this club also enjoy "syok sendiri". Haha.. Just like what I am doing now with this blog. =p

There you go.. the high committees of AFC with me being the president of the club (members give face nia..) and Chiew Shi (nicknamed Sushi) being the Vice President (beside me) The one directly behind me is the secretary of the club, Chit Pei a.k.a Pattern Queen (To be "lucutkan" soon.. Haha. Joking..) The other one is Shin Yi @ Ah Lui, the treasurer of our lovely club. It's been a great semester working with them. Always supportive and fun to play together.. they are possibly the best committee members that I ever had. ^.^

Okay what is that? That's our club's emblem and it is used by the tour guide of the trip to lead us the way during trips. At the end of the trip, it will be handed over to the next tour manager. Something like what you see during the handing over of the torch to the next host during Olympic Games. It is at the hands of Jackie now. The tour manager of the next trip to Perak.

Past activities
Singapore trip can be said as the event leading to the formation of AFC. It is the first trip with coursemates which lead to other trips that we are having now. Really thankful to PeiChun for the trip.

Our first ever official event : Hwee Meng's farewell party. That's the card that we made for her. Even accounting students can come out with beautiful art. Hehe.

The first mega birthday party : Jackie's and ZeeYi's belated birthday party, steamboat birthday party involving 16 people and hours of planning, prepartion and cooking. Really a tiresome celebration.

Others activities not mentioned here is karaoke session, movie watching, McD ice creams with members and yumchas. Will be looking forward to many other nice activities and exercising my jaw muscle with my high coms. That explains my fatigue of the past few days. (laugh until jaw muscle ache)
