Reason I gained 3kg in 2 weeks

First of all, I would like to congratulate myself for gaining so much weight in the pass 2 weeks. 3kgs.. When I came back to Teluk Intan, I practically eat 5 times a day, each time in a BIG amount.. Hehe. I would also want to thank ShiYun for feeding me like a pig while I was in Butterworth. Okay, cut the crap, let's EAT!!!!!

Zanmai Sushi, The Gardens

Right after Genting trip, decided to eat at 1U Zanmai Sushi but end up in MidValley because I took the wrong turn in Duke Highway. Haha. Anyway we still eat the thing that we want. After savoring the Sushi here, you will definitely NOT go to Sushi King or Sakae Sushi again.. ^^

Asam Laksa
Review : Erm.. Not bad.. But there are better stalls.

Char Kueh Teow
Review : Recommended. Nice aroma and the taste is just nice.

Secret to the tasty fried kuew teow. Uncle used charcoal to cook. Not the normal gasoline stove.

Bukit Mertajam Char Kueh Teow, Malay Styled. Notice that Ah Xian also visited this place before.

Review : Recommended. But notice that it is very "wet", with a lot of sauce, unlike the normal dry Penang Char Kueh Teow. It is because this is the nothern style of the Malay cooking. I myself liked Malay food so maybe I am a bit bias in the review. ^^

Yam Rice. You can only get them in Penang area.

Mixed pork soup.

So just how mixed it is? Well.. there is pork ball, pork meat, solidify pig blood (the redish brown rectangular thing), pork stomach, pork liver, pork intestine.

It is a combination for your information. You got to eat them both.
Review : Highly recommended. When you are in Butterworth, die also must eat it.

Sarawakian Noodle
Review : SUPER highly recommended. Just go eat. What's more to tell?

All right all right. Review a bit why it is so nice for the sake of the hungry readers. The noodle itself is special. I am not sure whether it is really from Sarawak or not but I don't care as long as it is delicious. You may see that it looks normal but let me warn you, don't judge a noodle by its bowl (where did that come from?!?!) The noodle gives you an elastic feel when chewing and the soy sauce added just makes you feel like heaven. Never mind the "wantan" and the minced pork. They are just for decorative purposes. Just go for the noodle!!!!

Prawn Mee

Review : Normal. Maybe because I ate the Sarawakian noodle before this and it affects my taste buds.

Pork Leg

Eat it with rice and sambal stuffed fish.
Review : The pork leg is nice. The fish is also nice. However the veggie sucks.

Pantai Bersih Ikan Bakar

Nicely grilled ikan pari.

Review : Recommended. My second time eating it already.

Last but not least...

Curry mee!!!!

Review : Recommended also. Available only at night and always buzzing with people, I find this better than SK curry mee. Well at least there is consistency with the taste unlike the SK which is too dry and LACK quality control.

Genting 3rd time in 3 months..

This is my 3rd time going to Genting Highlands in 1 semester. Seriously I am banning anyone's idea to go to Genting again this year. Didn't blog the 1st and 2nd Genting trip, so I am definitely going to blog the 3rd trip this time. Can't post the photos in Facebook for some reasons so will post it in Blogspot. Oh ya.. this time around, I will only post photos that AFC had never been to. Something like "bring" them go along. Hehe.

French Village

There is this French Village themed stalls in First World Plaza. Selling goods that are supposingly from "France".. I suspected that most of them are not. Didn't take any of the goods sold there though cause there is nothing really special. Hehe.

When you start dating, your blog will be filled with your girlfriend's photo as well.. ^^

Missed Girlie too much. So I brought her along.

Journey through HELL
Lesson learnt : DON'T do wrong and bad things.. But the irony is, gamble is a sin and yet there is a temple in Genting which has severe punishment in hell for gambling. >.<

Before "checking-out" of hell, there is a complimentary SOUP for everyone. Once drunk, you will forget everything. But here is a suggestion. Why not make the soup SELECTIVE forgetting? We only forget those bad things and unhappy things but still keep all those happy things? But then life would be meaningless.
