One whole month didn't update my blog. Cool!! Reason? Too busy and too lazy.
Anyway, finished my Audit paper today. Don't think I did very well in it. So.. blogging a bit see if it helps me release tension.
Oh.. I am supposed to talk about janitor right? Well if you don't understand the word.. fell shame of yourself. Janitor means someone who cleans the toilet for you everyday in your office, hostel or shopping mall. In short, mak cik cuci tandas. So what it is to talk about? Read on.
There is this one lady Indian janitor who is responsible to clean my hostel block. Every morning, she would clean the toilet, sweep the floor, mop the floor and empty the rubbish bin. Quite a pleasant lady as she will smile at me whenever she sees me. I see that she is very diligent in doing her work. At times I will see her sitting at the staircase just blanking off. I wonder what was on her mind. Felt sorry and sad looking at her sometimes. *sigh
But why am I blogging about her? Because she is a very responsible lady. How come? She took her job seriously and she complained to the MMU Residential Unit that the pipe in the toilet leaks and a lot more problem with the toilets in the whole block. That's not all. Today is the second time me seeing her asking the people to see for himself the problem. I don't know why I am that lucky to be going to the toilet everytime she complained. Maybe she wanted me to blog about her.
By the way, I complained about the toilets too when she was complaining. Chinese say "borrow knife to kill people." =p
Then I came to think that.. How come other people never complained about the toilets? I mean there are easily about 70 students living in my block but the condition never improves. Implication? They never complained la.. adui.. I just don't understand why people can live on with broken toilets, spoilt lights and damaged shower and NEVER do anything about it. Each and everytime something is damaged on my side toilet, I will go complain. Flush not working? Complain. Lights not working? Complain. Lecturer not good? Complain. Opss. That is out of topic here. Oh for the record, I had complained 10 times I stayed for 3 years in MMU hostel. My girlfriend called me Complain King for that. Haha.
Did I mention that she speaks perfect English? She can talk English even better than some of the students here. Then I thought, companies, maybe Telekom should hire her to work as the customer relation officer. She can speak English FAR FAR FAR more better than those P at the other end of the line. At least when you press "ONE" for ENGLISH, the answer won't be "Selamat petang. Boeh saya bantu?" <--Please tell me which of the said words are ENGLISH?
So aunty, thanks for cleaning the toilets and doing your job well. If the Hostel people doesn't do anything about the toilets, don't worry. Let me complained on your behalf. I am going to spam whole MMU staff with the complain. See if they will ignore you this time around.
