It's been four years since I last went to Genting. Nothing much changed.. Genting is still very much the same. The entertainment there didn't much. Still the same things that I played since small. Just that is time I am going with my coursemates; Jia Yun, Shi Yun, Winson, Jackie and Pei Chun. An unforgettable trip indeed. Special is some ways. Exciting in the middle. Suprising in the end..

CASINO
Genting is all about GAMBLING!! Thank god I am over 21 years old!! But the stupid security guard asked for my IC everytime I go in. They didn't ask for Winson's IC. Don't know whether I should be happy about it or not. But I didn't spend a single ringgit. Only go in to have a look and for the free drink!! Oh ya. Winson really have some good luck in gambling this year. He did won playing the slot machine (in chinese is "tiger machine") I ony observe how people bet and how the game is played. Seriously, gambling is fun but don't get addicted. You may lose all your money, family and friends because of it!!!

Spent RM9 just to shoot 12 arrows!!! I did nearly hit the bull's eye though.

SnowWorld
Definitely one of the most enjoyable thing that I played in Genting. Never been there before. It was the one and only thing that we played together with Jia Yun. Inside there was really like heaven to me. I had always like snow. Played snow there. The old kids style - I throw you, you throw me. My ears was in serious pain because of that too!!! Ate ice cream in below 4 degree celcius is not a good idea!!!

Genting Outdoor & Indoor Theme Park
We was in the themepark from 12pm to 12am. Really played to the max on our RM51. Tried everything there. Among the enjoyable ones are Space Shot, Cyclone (4 people in a small roller cosater), Corkscrew (the long roller coaster), Flying Coaster (Superman), and Bumper Boat. Go-kart was suppose to be fun but unfortunately I got a slow car.. :( Can't race with Shiyun and Winson pula.. Sad le.. By the way I played Space Shot twice. IT WAS CRAZY!!! I would definitely not taking it twice ever again!! GILER!!! Honestly that was the only thing that I am scare of playing. On the first ride, while it was coming down, Winson and I held both Shiyun's hand. She couldn't hold to the handler!!! I think it scared the shit out of her because it did scare the shit out of me!!! Definitely not holding other people's hand ever again!!

Arcade
Wanted to play those car racing games but it was RM4 per game. Quite expensive. Jackie wanted to play those small kid stuff so we played those!! Shoot the monster with water pistol, throw basketball, throw baseball and bah!!! All small kids game. For Rm30, we managed to win a total of 300 points.. Not a thing to be proud of but still.. we did enjoy that moment.. But something big happened during that time though.. >.<

WEIRD BEDTIME STORIES
One of the interesting stuff in this trip is during bedtime. All 5 of us slept in the same room. (JY overnight at her friends' room) Boys and girls together. NOTHING happen la adui.. We slept on different beds. PC slept in the sleeping bag. Winson was the one who should be sleeping there as voted by KH, SY & Jackie but somehow.. *sigh
Anyway on the first night, Winson, SY and Jackie planned to watch EURO 2008 Portugal vs Germany at Genting International Showroom at 2am. They slept at 12 something and planned to wake up later.
At 2am.. everyone was sound asleep except Winson who woke up then..
I was snooring LOUDLY then. (as told by SY and Winson - sorry about that guys!!! Paiseh betul la..)
At first he went over to SY's bed and pulled her blanket - it didn't wake her up. So he tried miscalling SY's hp. It was in silent mode. The vibration did woke Jackie up but she just keep on sleeping.
He then woke me up. I ignored him. So he miscalled my hp. It did woke me up. I sat on the bed for a few seconds before falling back to sleep. I was asleep again a few SECONDS later. Cool huh?
Anyway SY was awake then but she kept lying on the bed..
A few minutes later (I think la..) I woke up again. This time not because of noise. Suddenly I feel my bed is shaking and vibrating. I thought it was earthquake!! But moments later I realised that it was a stupid guy SHIVERING beside me on my bed!!!! He opened the window when he woke up and when a sudden gust of wind blew into the room, he was so cold that he shivered. HAHA.
Oh ya.. for the record he was not wearing sweater or jacket. My first time experience of such a BIG HANDPHONE vibrating.. I give it a 5.0 magnitude on the Ritcher scale..
Moments later, he tried the last resort. TELEVISION. He turned the volume high. He did woke SY up. I was actually awake at that time but I was too lazy to wake up. Then I heard Winson & SY discussing something but I was too sleepy to hear properly. They did asked me something but according to them, I was back SNOORING immediately after answering them!! And it was quite a loud one too!!
SY and Winson went for the football match then..
Winson really has some "unique" way of waking up people. Pulled people's blanket, miscalling people's handphone, turning on the television.. I wonder why he don't use the traditional way of shouting and kicking the person? Even blowing whistle is a good idea too. That was how we wake Jackie & SY up on the next day ^.^

Editor's note : I was half sleeping and half awake during that period. So my memories are quite blurred. This part is written with the help of SY's and Winson's statement. Pei Chun slept soundly the whole scenario through.

4th June 2008
After taking the Singapore Flyer, we went to Orchard Road for our lunch. Yup. LUNCH!! (It was already 12am) I was wondering how I could skip two meals on that day!! Initially we want to have some decent food but almost all shops are closed at that time. So we got no choice but to eat at a Hong Kong typed restaurant. But after some calculation, we noticed that for the same price we are paying for the food, we can go for the karaoke Supper buffet. So we left the place after sitting down and looking at the menu without ordering!

So we went to K Box for karaoke and for our lunch + dinner + supper!!!
Breakfast + Lunch = Brunch.
Lunch + Dinner + Supper = Lundinesup?
K Box is quite similar to Neway. Both of them don't have much English songs!!! Still Redbox is the best. Hehe. Had the supper buffet at 2am. By that time I am already hungry until I am full. Don't really feel like eating a lot at that time.
The guy sleeping next to Chit Pei is ME!! Slept right after having the supper buffet!! I am really a pig. Another thing, they were singing rock, loud bass songs with really high music volume at that time. I am truly versatile when it comes to sleeping!!! ^.^
All right. So after I woke up, it is time for the three sleeping beauties!! They were DEAD tired at that time. However, our tour guide, PC didn't sleep at all!!! And talk about being a professional!!!
It was 430am at that time. After sleeping and charged 25% full, it is time to change place!!

So the next place we went was East Coast park. Reached there about 5am. Then we quickly find a table and bench for a place to rest. (to sleep actually) Found quite a clean one and that's it! We continue charging our batteries by sleeping on table and bench at the beach. This is something that I would never ever do in Malaysia!! It is far too dangerous to do in Malaysia!!! Woke up at around 7am and then had McD breakfast. Wanted to cycle at the park but it RAINED!! So we changed our plan and went to Changi Airport instead.

Our luggages are heavy. So I decided to use a trolley to put and push them around!! Now I feel like a tourist!! ^.^

Feel like going home. So we took the next flight back to KLIA. Walking towards the Departure Hall..

After melepak (loitering) at Changi Airport for about 2 hours, we went back to East Coast Park. Rented bicycles and went for a two hour cycling on a sunny day!! >.<
Seriously after learning about the Adobe Photoshop, I somehow feel that this photo had been photoshopped before. Don't you think that I cut and paste myself into the photo? Well the truth is that it is 100% authentic!!! Blame it on the photographer!!! ^.^

So after East Coast, we head back to PC's house at Eunos to take bath for the first time after more than 30 hours!!!! Walao!!! Tire.. Smelly.. Sweaty.. It was my World Record for the Longest Time I Didn't Take Bath! Went to Night Safari after dinner at Takashimaya. Didn't take much photo at Night Safari as we were not allowed to flash the animals. Without flash we can't see the animals..

Night safari.. at last I had been there!!! A nice experience on the tram and also walking on foot. Really enjoy the night. And the best thing is that we paid Malaysian Ringgit for the entrance fees!! RM22 only!! Hehe.

5th June 2008 (Final day and also a bad luck day for me)
It was the last day of our trip. Went to Vivocity again as they wanted to go shopping. Was already late when I went out that day. Then suddenly it seem that all my misfortune fall down on me at the same time!! I was stucked in the MRT for about 15 minutes as the door had jammed and can't be closed!! I was just a station away from Harbour Front!!! Just 1 more station.. Like that also don't want let me go meh?? T.T (Misfortune #1)

Nice lunch at Xiao Dian Er. It was the best meal I ever had during the whole trip!! The Herbal Roasted Duck was fantastic. But it was also expensive!!! But maybe the meal was too nice we ate so slowly that we missed half an hour of Sex and The City. (Misfortune #2)

All happy looking kids after watching Sex and The City. Maybe because of some "ehem" "ehem" scene.. But it was a good movie. Laugh all the way through. Will definitely watch it again!! This time will watch the uncensored version. ^.^

After the movies, had a little window shopping and then headed to Bugis to take a bus to Custom. Reached Custom at 745pm. Waited in a line.. PC was alone at Lane 7. Shiyun and Chitpei was at Lane 5. Me and Jiayun was at Lane 3. All of us arrived at the same time. PC went out at 8pm. SY & CP went out at 815pm. And you know what?? Me and CP only went pass the custom at 830pm!!! A difference of half an hour!!! (Misfortune #3)

Waited for the bus to the Malaysian custom and reached there at 9pm. By then we already missed our dinner. (Misfortune #4) Then at Malaysia custom, we waited for the bus to Larkin but it seem all bus are off service!! (Misfortune #5) It was already 910pm at that time and my bus back to hometown was at 930pm!!! Got no choice but to take taxi. Was charged RM15 for that. (Misfortune #6 + duit kena tipu) The experience of waiting, running, walking, and more running was as if me and my tourmates are participating the Amazing Race. At last I managed to board the bus and reached home safely...

So that's all about my Singapore trip!! Had a lot of fun during the whole trip. Surely if without the lovely Tour Guide How Pei Chun, I would not had so much fun. She really did a great job in bringing us travelling to almost all the main tourist attraction in Singapore. The only complain would be there is too much walking and no good food were provided!!! ^.^ Joking.. So here is a BIG BIG THANK YOU to Pei Chun for your hard work!!! Really appreciate it!!!

Editor's Unforgettable experience in Singapore:
1. Never in my life slept at outdoor before!! Slept in MRT station, shopping mall, a beach and a karaoke lounge during the trip.
2. Never in my life walk so much before!! Was walking.. and walking.. some running.. a little jogging.. more walking.. until my muscle are pain.
3. Never in my life had so few food in the span of 4 days!!! If I totaled it up, it would be like I am eating only for 2 days.
4. Never in my life had gone through more than 30 hours without taking bath!!
5. And lastly.. Never in my life had SO MUCH FUN BEFORE!!! ^.^ It was definitely a great trip with my coursemates. Really appreciate the times playing together with them.

3rd June 2008, Tuesday.
It was 7am. Time to wake up because I need to go out by 730am that day. PC said we were going to East Coast for cycling and also to Wild Wild Wet. (a place quite similar to Sunway Lagoon just that it is really at the beach). Needed to travel to Pasir Ris MRT Station which is 27 stations away from Chao Chu Kang. Yup. TWENTY SEVEN STATIONS. Then PC called and said there will be a change of plan. Instead of East Coast, we were to go to Sentosa Island that day.


Reached Harbour Front at 830am. While waiting for PC, SY & JY, I fell asleep at the MRT station. (that's the first OUTDOOR place I sleep in Singapore) Then received a call from PC again and was told that they will be late. So I went to Vivocity (Vivo and the MRT station is within the same building) to find some better place to sleep. I was still damn tire then. Only thought of sleeping. So finally I found a place to sleep . It was a bench with table. Just the place I was looking for!!! Slept there for about an hour!! I couldn't believe that I slept in a shopping mall!!!(The second OUTDOOR place I sleep in Singapore) At last the 3 of them arrive so the next one we are waiting for is Chit Pei who were to come and meet us at Harbour Front Station.

At 1045am after our breakfast, PC called CP and CP said she was about to arrive at Harbour Front. PC ask CP to wait for us at the MRT ENTRANCE. (PC meant the place you scan your EZlink Card) However when we reach there and waited for about half an hour, there is no sign of CP. PC then called CP but we can't reach her. We started to become worried. It shouldn't be that long. So we walked into Vivocity again to have better phone signals as we thought the telephone line has problem. We tried calling her numerous times but in vain. We even sent her SMS but there was no reply. We called her friend who came to Singapore with her but he said they seperated at Dhoby Ghaut. We alled Sushi also to see if CP called her but she didn't do so. Could something bad really happen?

2 hours has passed. There is still no sign of her. I myself was starting to get really worry. What if something bad happen to her? What if she get kidnapped? What if she met with an accident? As the last resort, we even asked the MRT personnel to announce for a missing person in all MRT stations and in the trains as well but was told it was almost IMPOSSIBLE for them to do that as that will affect their reputation.

Below is what we had thought while waiting for the "missing" Chit Pei:
1. She SESAT JALAN (got lost) Instead of going to Harbour Front she headed to Punggol. (The other end of the train line) It happens if you take the wrong train. [possible]
2. CP's HP ran out of credit. In Singapore they double charged for a call made. That means if you are receiving a call you will also be charged. (Luckily they don't have such thing in Malaysia) So if your credit finishes you would not be able to receive calls. [highly possible]
3. Continuation of the second hyphotesis. Since she ran out of credit, she will would not be able to call us. So why not use the public phone to call us? We even SMS her to "remind" her to call us on the public phone. [maybe will happen]
4. Continuation of the third hypothesis. What if she don't have coins to call us? Well she can always go change with people or just buy something to get small change!! [Quite impossible for that to happen. She can't be that stupid]
5. REPORT TO POLICE. But it takes 24 hour before we can lodge a missing person report. Chit Pei on the run. [Really what also can think of]

SO finally at 1pm after waiting for 3 hours, PC finally decided not to wait anymore. Felt reluctant but had to do so. So we went to buy the Cable Car tickets and as we were in the lift, Sushi called and said CP is at McDonald waiting for us since 11am!!!! WHAT THE CHICKEN!!!!!! Already said MRT ENTRANCE meet!! WHY ON EARTH SHE GO TO MCD???? Adui.. Waste our precious 3 hours nia..
So folks.. this is the another Adobe Photoshop thing that I mentioned a few days ago. Used almost two hours to do this photo. Again.. Credits to Kok Yew for helping me with the Adobe Photoshop. If Chit Pei really didn't turn up maybe the Police can use this and paste it all around Singapore.
So finally it is play time after all the useless worry and waiting!!! That's me and CP in the cable car. Had a lot of fun scaring PC and JY in the cable car. What if the cable snapped and we all fall into the sea? Playing Pirate's Revenge at Sunway sure leave some phobia of height in us. Hehe.
Me at CineBlast. Something like Motion Master in Genting. It was an adventure of a log traveling through in air, mountain, forest, water, trolley and railway. Quite okay but I would prefer playing the real roller coaster.

This is what the Luge is like. A downhill luging with curves and bend to tackle. Raced with Shiyun down the hill and seriously it was damn fun!!! Shiyun is definitely a good partner to race with. She was leading at first but I somehow overtake her at the curve. Just like Jay Chou in Intial D. It reminds me of the time I go-carted in Sitiawan. So miss the excitement and thrill!

At the Dolphin Lagoon to see PINK dolphins performance. Yup. PINK. No artificial colouring nor hybrid breed. The dolphins are pink just because they had not gone through the complete pigmentation process. Nice performance by the dolphins!!!
