Hong's Little Diary

This blog is inspired by my best friend, Chloe's blog. I even use the same title as hers.

Still remember 3 years ago.. That was after my SPM.. I can say the post SPM period is probably my best ever holiday. Ipoh, Pangkor, go-cart, yumcha at Sitiawan then chat in Lumut, go explore Selekoh, make egg tart for Chloe's birthday and so much more crazy stuff. Everyday I will be only thinking of what to play and when to meet 'her'. We did meet everyday without fail for 31 days until 'she' needs to go KL to work for a few days. I can say.. I really enjoyed the 31 days a lot. It won't come back. But at least.. the sweet memories is still with me..

When we grow up, how many of ur so-called best friend will still be there for you? I can still vividly remember the '8 st john gang'. We did a lot of crazy stuff together. Buying and wearing the same Giordano 'me' T-shirt when we go out and play. Boys will be wearing the blue ones while girls will be wearing the pink ones. Seriously.. we wont do that again. Not a chance!!!

It is because things changed. The gang is broken. All 8 of us are separated now. One left the group 2 and a half year ago because of 'her'. He never contact any of us until recently. He refused to answer our call, wont reply our sms. Well to me.. that was stupid. Then two other left when they went to pursue their degree at local uni. (medic & bio-medic). So just left 5 of us. Then a year later, 'she' got a boyfriend so can consider as leaving the group as our gang is demoted to 2nd place in her heart. WS went to UPM and ever since then.. the gang just left 3 survivors. Me LL and Chloe. 3 of us still 'sheung yi wai ming' in Teluk Intan.

Well that was until last year when me came to MMU and LL went to work in Singapore. That was it. Broken to the pieces. Don't mention meeting with them. I hardly can even talk to them now. The one and only best friend left is Chloe. Well she was my best friend since 8 years ago. We still chat like before. I still bully her like before. Still the same old me and same old her when we are together. Really felt grateful that I am still her best friend. I wonder what will happen 8 years later though.

Was chating with Chloe after my exam when we suddenly talked about our 8 st john gang. Seriously at that point of time I was wondering.. the 8 gang.. it is only me and 4 others syok sendiri tubuhkan the gang? Because the 3 others never really admit they are in the group. Is it real? Maybe its real.. for like 2 or 3 months? It's been 3 months since I meet any of them. Even coming back for holiday this time, I don't think I can meet any of them. I suppose maybe we will meet next year. CNY is now our annual gathering. GOSH!!! Things really change. Initially we are talking about daily meetings and now we are talking about annual meetings!!! God knows what will happen to this gang a few years later.

Coming to MMU, I made a new group of friends. My coursemates are really cute. I got all types of coursemates. Blur blur type.. tai ka che type.. simple and nice type.. sampat type.. small kid type.. noob type.. LOL.. They are really nice and fun to play with. Feel grateful to have this group of friends to 'tai huai wo'. We were talking about weekly Thurday out of MMU trips during the Sunway Lagoon trip that day. So it means that every Thursday will be something to play. ^.^ Redbox Sunway Pyramid and Balakong, Sunway Lagoon, Genting, dim sum breakfast at Sri Petaling are among the drafts of our activities. Hehe But this group of friends.. will we be friends for the 4 years while we are studying or longer than that? My heart tells me that the former is the answer. Well you can say I am pessimistic but seriously.. this kind of things come and go. Friends come and go. New place = new friends. That's nature. You can't avoid it. Things change. What more human. Human change in split seconds. So my friend.. I don't know whether we will still be friends 1 or 2 or 3 years from now. So if you are reading this blog right now that means you are my friend. Hope we will still keep in touch in the near future!!

On 24/5/2008, after a tiring previous day, (I slept at 4am and woke up at 1130am), me Sushi Chitpei Jiayun and Peichun went to Sunway Lagoon. Well that was my first time!!! Also Sushi's first time there. PC and JY went there 2 times before while CP went there once. Haiz.. manalah kenangan zaman kecil saya ni ha? Anyway it was a happy trip. CP & Sushi had just finished their HR exam that day so it is time for them to wind up and PLAY.

RM48. That was the amount paid for the ticket. We played for around 5 hours. 1pm to 6pm. First we went to the Waters of Africa. Feel like a small kid. Splashing water around, rendam2 air, toppling Sushi in her pelampung. That was fun! Wanted to topple JY but she was quick to evade our attack. Did tried all the things there. The best is definitely Congo Challange, the game which require you to hold and lie on the mat and slide down! Head first, body on the mat. Cool! PC got stuck at the top starting point though. Don't know what exactly happened but she did managed to slide down SAFELY. ^.^ Then the second would probably be the Cameroon Climb. That is the one where 2 person were to slide down and then slide back up before stopping in the middle. Had that ride with CP. Her screaming was deafing!!! Haha. Other than that was just normal games. Sunway Surf Beach was next. The beach is not as sandy as I thought. But.. Still okay la since you had a group of friends playing with you.

Next stop is the Theme Park named World Of Adventure. Seriously I regret agreeing to play the Pirate's Revenge. Was cheated by CP. IT SCARE THE SHIT OUT OF ME!!!! Turning 360 degrees without any roof covering us!!! GOSH!!! I am really scare that I will FALL!!! Thank God we landed safely. We had a few casualty though. Sushi was out of for 2 hours. She didn't played anything else after that. DIZZY. Her face was really Putih Pucat!! As if a vampire sucked all her blood!! Haha. Played the roller coaster and the only things ever scare me is my head will hit the tiangs!! LOL!

World of Adventure done so Wild Wild West is the next one. Played Colorado Splash
Grand Canyon River Rapids, Niagara Falls Flume Ride. Playing Colorado Splash.. I finally know JY and PC's real face!! They are selfish friends who will want to see me and CP DIE first!!! Hard to explain here without graphics. But they did uttered this phrase, "Abang, bagi mereka main dulu. Nak tengok macam mana." But as conclusion, we did slide down SAFELY. Me and CP were the white rats.. T.T

Okay. Now for the last game of the day which CP had been asking for since we are in the car. They called it "Gen X" but it was actually called "Tomahawk" - a 2 train like vehicle turning 360 degrees numerous times!!! This time with a roof covering out. But it is still more scary because it is so DAMN FAST!!!! There was only 4 people playing the Tomahawk. ME CP and a couple. Sushi PC & JY are too afraid to play after the Pirate Revenge. Think they are phobia to 360 degrees turning games after this. Hehe. But laughing at people will have balasan. So me & CP were asked to sit in the FRONT ROW!! GOSH!!! We were asking to abort the game but the Abang didn't peduli us.. T.T The ride was a ride of hell!!! But me & CP did sang a Happy Birthday song which sound like this.. "happy birthday to AaaaaaahhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" Buat malu aje. haha.

So all in all, the trip was really enjoyable. Didn't regret going with them. Next semester, we are definitely going to Sunway Lagoon again on one of the Thursdays. Mokuyoubide Sunway Lagoonhe ikimasu!! Hehe.

So my 3 week break starts on 22/5/2008 12.01pm. Ahh.. 3 weeks cuti.. nice.. Planned to sing k right after the exam but then don't have the mood to sing. Didn't do that well in the last paper. Haizzz... So end up playing computer game the whole noon.. Until 1 Girl keep ym~ing me. Heard the popping sound of message coming in but I refused to bother her. Then she BUZZed me!!! What the heck!! The game jumped out to Windows.. I was in a critical stage at that gaming time!! Adui.. KACAU!!! Can't blame her though. She was too free and boring..

So at night after helping Winson move his things to Cyberia, off me Winson Sophia Shiyun and Kahseng go to SK for a BBQ Steamboat buffet. A big meal after a BIG exam ma.. Hehe. We did had a nice night. Many patterns between Shiyun and Kahseng.. and quarrels between Winson and Sophia, as if they are lovers. God knows what is wrong with Sophia that night. She just keep talking and talking until I feel like shutting her up!!!! Seriously I prefer a quiet Sophia. Hehe. At least I can eat in peace.

At around 12am, the boys decided to take photos together. Well of course.. that night was our last night staying together in hostel. Many will be moving out next year. Buatlah kenangan sikit. After that they decided to play poker cards, "Cho Tai D". JS slept early that night so only left me KS Winson ZY and HL playing. Since it is a 4 person game, loser will be eliminated and the 5th person will come in.

It's been a year since I came to MMU and stayed in HB1 Wing C 2006. So many sweet memories there. And bitter ones too.. Time really flies. Just feel like I moved in a few weeks ago.
Will surely miss all my hostel-mates namely Winson Noob, Kahseng, JS, Zeeyi, Ah Yong, Alex, Hoeloong, Liu, Tzehao and my always-missing-in-action roomate, Kavin.
Not going to talk much in this blog. Let me just share some photo with you ok? All taken on the last night with my hostel-mates before they leave for hometown the following day.

Seriously I sucked at that.. dun dare to think of the result that I will be getting... sad story

So just forget about sad stuff. Let's go back to talk about my favourite little doggie shall we?
Okay here it goes. My sister sent me a MMS today entitled 'our cute little dog' (refer the photo)

Then we had a little chat through SMS and the funny thing is that she said my mum merajuk that she bought a more expensive present for Girlie. (name of my doggie). Then I was thinking "Huh? Why suddenly jealous of the dog? We did bought Mum Yomeishu as present". So I asked my sister and she replied, "The biscuit was RM17 per bottle. Mum said we never bought a more expensive biscuit for her."

Adui.. like this also want to merajuk? LOL. Cute mum!! A 5X year old lady jealous of a 11 year old doggie. Anyway blogging here just cause I just feel like sharing with my friends my doggie little story and also to wish a sha po.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CATHERINE!!! 20 years old d lo.. Guai2 la.. Know it is hard to had such tough exam on your birthday. I had that too this year. Birthday Marketing midterm test. Memang betul2 sweat punya. Anyway jia you and ganbatte in MA ya!

P.S. (for Catherine only) : Ei ur bday present I buy meow meow biscuit for u ok ma? My doggie say very nice de. Hehe.

Eleven years ago, a cute little puppy was brought to a loving family (Yup.. that's my family) Hehe..
ELEVEN years later.. she is still happily living at the same house.. still the apple of me and my families' eyes.. still cute and lovable.. but of course with some common old dog antics (quite similiar to old people antic)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLIE!!! You are now 11 human years old!! Which also mean that you are 77 dog years old!! Should call you grandma instead of 'ah girl'. Sadly no one remembered her birthday except my sister!! HAHA. Even my mum forget it! Poor dog..

Here are some old dog antics of Girlie that I would like to share:
1. Can't stay up late. According to my mum, Girlie went to bed around 1030pm lately. Her usual sleeping spot at night is in front of my parent's room. Dad added that Girlie is old d. Can't stay up late at night. Before this Girlie usually only went to bed when my mum went to bed around 1130pm.
2. Losing hair. (in the case of a dog, it is fur) Just like human, you will suffer hair lost when you gets older. Girlie had been suffering from that problem since 3 or 4 years ago. She started losing great amount of fur then. Occasionally she will have 'botak' spot particularly her stomach area.
3. Short sightedness. (can't see far) Girlie needs a spectacle!!! She can't see far clearly anymore. This explains why she always bark at us when we are standing at the gate which is about 20 to 25 metres I guess? She is really a 'sesat' dog.
4. Urinary problem. Put it in simpler way.. she cant 'tahan kencing'. Hehe. She always peed in the house particularly on the mat at the door as she cant tahan kencing anymore. I personally experienced it! She was at the door wanting to go and pee at outside. But as I take the door keys she peed on the mat. Guess she 'tak boleh tahan lagi'?

Girlie has been an important part in the NG family. Without her, there wouldn't be so much laughter and joy in my family. The bond between a dog and human is incredible! As people like to say it 'dogs are human best friend'. She is indeed my best friend and best pet ever!! No one in the family can resist playing with her even a day! Such an adorable stinky little bug! Hehe. Miss her so so much.. too bad she can't read this blog.

Today is my macroeconomics examination...
Weather is fine..
Questions are fine as well...
The invigilators are lenient.. (well that was what I thought initially)
That was it.. The perfect route to cheating in exam!! No one will noticed!!

Out of a sudden.. while answering my question, the invigilator asked the whole the candidates whether they have a calculator. I thought it was a stupid question as who would not bring a calculator for an exam which involves calculations. Indeed no one answer negatively. So I thought that was it. Back to answer my paper... Wu liao invigilator eat full breakfast nothing to do.. Hehe..

I don't know if it was my bad luck or whatever the reason is.. I was caught CHEATING!! YUP. I CHEATED in exam, somehow. Wait.. so 'kan jiong' for what? I didn't 'tiru' answer la.. It's just that my calculator is prohibited by the exam unit. Casio 570W was my model. The girl sitting in front of me also using the prohibited calculator but she ESCAPED unnoticed!! @.@

So the invigilator said, "You can't use this calculator. I am taking it away."
SHIT!!! Seeing him as a kind person type, I tried my luck with a bit cute face and voice, "Ha?? Then what I use wo? I just need the calculator to PLUS MINUS DIVIDE TIMES oly le.. Kasi chance la.."
He replied with a firm "NO! But don't worry. I will just put your calculator beneath the table. If other invigilators, they will take it away." SWEAT!!!!! Udah 'rampas' lagi nak puji diri sendiri!! >.<

But soon after that, he saw me looking down and moody and approached me. I think he think that I am sad because I got no calculater to use. I was actually thinking how to 'blow' the essay question. Peluang keemasan!! Hehe.. Buat muka kesian lagi!! I asked "Can I borrow calculator from others?" Thank God he said "OKAY. But when you want to use it raise your hand". COOL!! Problem solved! However after an hour or so, he came again and said, "Formulas can be set in the calculator. Examples are GDP can be calculated using a formula set in the calculator. So I can't let you use it though I know that you didn't set it". Adui.. can set formula tell earlier ma.. at least no need squeeze my brain doing the consumer consumption question. (Now that is REALLY cheating) But anyhow towards the end of the exam, I managed to get a calculator from those early leaving student. Better still.. No need to share and get a new friend as well.

Moral of the story:
1. Pray hard that the invigilator is "tidak-apa-type"
2. Don't be overdependant on calculators.
3. Borrow Casio MS350 before exam!!!!

Maklumlah dah hafal 1 minggu.. takkanlah boleh lupa begitu saja..

Maafkan saya Ibu.. sebab tak dapat sambut Hari Ibu denganmu. Maklumlah exam kan.. MMU betul-betul apa pun boleh. Exam hari AHAD lagi - lagi Hari Ibu. Tapi ini pun bukannya kali pertama la ye? Rasa rasanya masa ini pada tahun lepas saya masih kat Singapura bukan? Tak berapa ingat dah.. tapi kan.. nasib baik ada kakak saudara belanja ibu pergi makan steamboat nanti.. bagus juga la.. at least ada orang sambut.. takle sepi sangat.. (saya pun nak makan steamboat!!! T.T)

Ketika saya menaip blog ini.. kepala saya teramat pening la.. bukan sebab migraine ke ape.. tapi pening sebab Accounting Information System.. dah la soalan dia susah.. tak tau buat pula.. saya tanya A, A tanya B, pastu B pula tanya saya!! PELUH!!!! =.='' aigh.. susah betullah time - time exam ni.. (it explains all the crapping)

Nanti Operasi OT pukul 930 malam. OT tu stands for Old Town bukan Over Time ye adik2 kakak abang sekalian.. Buat apa kat sana? NONTON bola la!! Malam ini Manchester United lawan Wigan Atheltics!! Mesti NONTON!!! MU mesti mau MENANG!!!! GO! GO! GO!! aa.. jangan high sangat nak tambah ole! ole! ole! kat belakang.. ^.^

GOSH!! I really love that song!! Had been listening to it non-stop since yesterday!! Listened to it NON-STOP from 5pm to 6.30pm yesterday and 4pm to 6pm today. As I am typing this blog I am still listening to it. Don't know why I like it so much. Must be caused by too much stress. Run Fire In Monster ody.. as always said by my brother and sister.. Hehe.

Okay. A bit review of this music shall we? This is a slow tempo song, R&B styled. Talks about the singer's lover unfaithfulness towards the singer. If you notice the lyrics it is talking about the guy being unfaithful to the girl but still somehow managed to cheat the girl. Sepandai pandai tupai melompat, akhirnya jatuh ke tanah juga. His infidelity was uncovered. He tried to apologize but in vain. He was a superb liar. That is where the title come from. He was lying the whole time (similar to acting as defined by the singer) So now that he can't cheat anymore (at least to the singer) he had to go down the stage. Thus taking a bow! Nice!

Talking about this song..
It really cost me a lot of time and spoil my mood somehow.
First, I had to ask bloggers around where and how to embed a song into my bloggy. I knew imeem would do the job but I kind of prefer embedding the song into my bloggy without the music list box.
Second, after searching high and low, I finally found the song! I thought that was it. Select the URL, copy and paste it, save, DONE!! Nice song for my bloggy. Mana tau, when I view my blog, nothing was heard. Eerie silent. =.='' Stupid! Waste my time!! It did ruin my mood yesterday night. >.<

It is exam break now..
Everyone is supposed to be busy studying, revising, memorizing, sleep eat play books. My Chemist teacher, Mr Khoo once tell us to burn the book and drink it if you can't memorize the whole book. Never try that though.. but maybe will try it on Sat nite.. Principles of Marketing is on SUNDAY MORNING. Yep.. SUNDAY.. WTH is wrong with MMU???

Anyway just after i promoted my blog, someone who is SUPPOSED to be very busy studying created ANOTHER blog!! Reason?

Hi everyone!! Welcome to Hong's Little Diary!!! This is a place where i will type all my up and downs, left and right, front and back.. Okay.. cut the intro. In short this is a place for me to crap when my friends ignore me. I had always wanted to blog. But i am too lazy to blog. God knows what had gone into me today that makes me blogging now. Now is my exam BREAK. I should be studying instead of talking nonsense here. So I am off the study now. (Hopefully I can concentrate) Got not much idea to crap now. Besides I am new here.
