It's been 10 days since I last entered a post. What to do? Assignments.. Midterms.. Birthday celebrations.. Club activities.. Was really busy until I don't have ample time to even watch my dramas and animes. Well it's 317am now.. Was to go to Kuala Selangor at 6am organised by Red Crescent. Kononnya nak tengok api -api (萤火虫) but looks more like donating blood to nyamuk.. Sigh.. Really don't have the mood to go. So so darn wish to be back at home. Just like where most of my other coursemates are now.. Hopefully.. Seriously hoping.. that the trip will turn out to be a good one..

This was written by my nice and cute friend. Got the shock of my life when she told me that she wrote about 'a guy who likes rain very much'. Kali pertama ada benda macam ini tau? Terkejut habis.. ^.^ So I decided to post it here as this is the place where I share all my memories of life. I was in a really bad mood today. Seriously what you had done really brighten my day!! Thank you very very so so much o.. Just can't describe my feelings now. Guess my "Kisah Anjingku Dilanggar Motor" turns out to be a happy story after all.. You know what I mean eh, Michiyo?

Gamma First Sem Week 8

Been very busy since coming back to MMU. So it explains the absence of any new blogs this week. So I am going to jot down all significant events that happened to me this week.

MONDAY, 11th August 2008
First aid duty at the 9th MMU convocation - Stand until my leg almost break.. Kesian.. Woke up at 530am because the duty starts at 7am. Gila punya.. Last time go school also won't wake up so early.

TUESDAY, 12th August
Cabaran oleh Abadan Jasmon (my stupid lecturer) - He disallow all future presentation stating that the standard of presentation has dropped. I have yet to present. So I asked him to allow my group to present for one last time and also to prove him wrong. He did allowed for more presentation later the day.
Watched firework - It was Malaysia's turn. It was a good but not great performance. There is still room for improvement. Maybe the place I watched affects my judgement. I don't really know though. Anyway watched it with the "pretty girl" as promised in the blog 又有烟花放了. And in a twist of fate, I watched it with someone I truly never expected!! She did a good job as a light bulb though.. Haha. By the way it really an anniversary minus my ex roomate and JS.

WEDNESDAY, 13th August
Knowledge economy midterm test - Yet another stupid lecturer. Saying that questions will be covering Chapter 1 to 5 but end up giving questions from Chapter 1 and 2 only. I didn't memorise Chapter 2. That is why I am complaining. >.<
Sophia's belated birthday celebration - Ate at Penang Village, Alamanda. Me and PY treated Sophia dinner. Cost me a bomb!!! After that was watching Mummy 3... again.. (10pm show) It was my 2nd time already!!! (@ Chloe : Since you didn't watch the movie yet, I ganti you watch. Me treat you good le? Haha) The movie was not really that magnificent but watching it with two beautiful girls.. You won't be complaining, would you? ^.^
Wall E premiere - 1210am show.. It was right after watching Mummy. Feels like I am double dating because I watched it with another group of friends. PY mengamuk because I didn't follow her back. Haha. It was the premiere (first show). I tell you.. It was FANTASTIC!!! Definitely going to watch it again. The whole story was magnificent with a lot of human feelings (love, friendship) involves even though Wall E (the robot's name) and EVE (a probe sent to Earth to find plant) are ROBOTs. Funny, touching, memorable, cute will be the words to describe it. Definitely the movie of the month!!!

THURSDAY, 14th August
Hungry Ghost Festival - Nothing special happened except having a flu (wasted the whole noon sleeping) and staying awake until 3am trying to solve Abadan's challenge. (It was indeed a bad day) By the way I didn't realise that it was "七月十四" until my mum told me. @.@

FRIDAY, 15th August
Finished my AIS individual assignment. Siap print lagi. Hehe. Thanks to residents of B2 6 3A. Why I am blogging it? Well this is the first assignment that I complete far beyond the deadline since coming to MMU. I was to hand it in on 20th August (Wednesday).

SATURDAY, 16th August
Down with flu again - GOSH!!! Dah nak exam baru nak sakit. Telan 1 small flu medicine and slept the whole noon again. BAH!!! Wasted whole noon again!!!
FiReWoRk at PICC - Changed the place to watch firework. Frankly speaking this place gave me a better view. China's performance was marvelous that day! But too bad I don't have that "pretty girl" to accompany me this time around. Hehe. (Whisper to "pretty girl" : This Wednesday don't lepas me fei kei a.. ^.^)

TODAY, 17th August
Study, Study and more study. Got FAR test tomorrow and I still don't really know how to do the calculations. Haiz.. Mengapalah lecturer ini tak guna sangat? Jawapan textbook yang diuploadkan pun untuk 1st Edition. Mak oi.. Kita guna 2nd Edition la!!! >.< Buat student suffer aje.. Semua pun nak kaji sendiri.. @.@

Managerial Assignment presentation - Seriously I am really delighted and excited to present next week. Beaming with confidence now. Abadan.. I will make you eat your own words!! KISAH ANJINGKU DILANGGAR MOTOR

Apabila pintu gate rumahku dibuka..
Anjingku Girlie meluru keluar dan melepak..
Dia melintas jalan raya..
Tanpa melihat kiri..
Mahupun kanan apabila melintas..
Bak kata pepatah..
Macam ayam melintas jalan..
Maka datang sebuah motor..
Kelihatan anjing bodohku melintas..
Motor honk anjing..
Pip!! Pip!! Oi tepi la oi!!!
Anjing tidak memberi reaksi..
So apa lagi?
BANG!!!!
Kedengaran teriakan kesian Girlie..
OPOCOTT!!!!

Tapi.. motor tu cuma somehow melanngar anjingku secara perlahan - lahan.. (in cantonese is "heng heng hai chan ha") So the stupid dog is TOTALLY fine.. Cuma apabila lari balik rumah tempang tempang sedikit pada bahagian kaki kirinya.. Masih boleh melompat, menyalak dan memanjat. Did I scare you just now? If I did, gomenasai..

Moral of the story : Please train your dogs to cross the roads.. Girlie is already 11 years old. There's a saying that old dogs don't learn new tricks.. So Girlie will NEVER learn how to cross road. Gosh..

Typical diary entry huh? Well this is a 'Diary" after all.. Hehe

Well it rained today. Supposed to be very happy (as I am very fond of raining) but I got all wet while I was at my dad's working place. The umbrella was really weird. It was SQUARISH shape!! Can you imagine a SQUARE umbrella?? Didn't notice of its shape until I was wet and start cursing the umbrella. Oh ya. the umbrella was a free gift from LOREAL. Rupa cantik tapi function bodoh pula.. What the hell!!! *&^$#%^ (was supposed to take a photo of the umbrella but didn't have the time)

Another thing.. I will be working tomorrow. YES!!! I AM WORKING tomorrow. Sigh.. The clerk at my dad's workplace will be registering tomorrow. Registering here means getting married on law at the Jabatan Pendaftaran. And you know what? She's only 21!!! (not yet birthday) Oh ya. I also got a friend registering tomorrow. She is really 21!!! (Sudah birthday) And I don't even have a girlfrined yet!!! Gosh!! But 08.08.08 ma.. Special date.. So I need to ganti her 1 day.. By the way, my dad's workplace has only ONE clerk. So you can imagine how small his workplace is..

Hopefully a better day will come today. Sigh. Oh ya. The reason I am online today is because my MA (Manegerial Accounting) group leader asked me to email my stupid lecturer. Her reason was she was fed up with the lecturer. WTH? She is such a bully and the lecturer is such an ass. (will have a blog on my MA lecturer soon) Thank god my MA group leader will not read my blog. Haha!!!

Saw this signboard my way to tapao char kueh toew this morning. The person is bowing to say sorry? Or an old man wana cross the road? That is definitely the first time I saw something like this.

Seeennnnnggggggggggg!!!!
Yup. Sushi said, 'Let's yum seng!' and so I shouted 'yum seng' as requested lo. Haha. About an hour later, Chee Wei (he sits at another table) and his friends shouted 'yum CHA' instead of 'yum seng'. SWEAT..

Well there you go, 4 smiling girls and 1 crying boy. Feel weird? Then think of this situation. 5 Sundaes were bought at the expense of the boy. The girls get it for free while the boy paid RM5 for the ice creams!! Now you know why he cried? It's hard to be a man.. T.T (I was singing Britney Spear's "I'm Not a Boy, Not Yet a Man" while typing this blog)

Okay enough of the jokes. I didn't feel sad or whatsoever for belanja~ing my 'high com's. They should be rewarded for all the hard 'work' for the past 7 weeks. Hehe.

We went to McDonald's Equine Park after watching The Mummy 3. Saw many MMU students there. Reached there at 3am adn left the place at 5am. Discuss a lot of future hard 'works'. All I can say is that we have a lot of programs coming up and it is sure to be fun! So wait for it ya!!

Dear readers,
First of all I would like to thank all of you for supporting me all this while. It is because of you that I decided to continue blogging. Really appreciate all your critics and comments. But I got a little announcement here to make.

Saya akan mem'blog' dalam BAHASA MALAYSIA selepas ini. THERE WILL BE NO MORE ENGLISH BLOGS.

Saya tidak gentar akan kritikan anda. Blog ini merupakan blog saya. Blog yang mencerminkan personaliti saya, mempamerkan gaya penulisan saya, dan mungkin merupakan sejarah hidup saya. Jadi akan saya gunakan Bahasa Malaysia sebagai bahasa blog saya. Mungkin suatu hari Dewan Bahasa & Pustaka akan menerbitkan sebuah buku berdasarkan blog saya? Entah la.. Saya pun tak tau.. (prasa kegemaran saya)

Sudah lama saya ingin menulis dalam Bahasa Malaysia (BM). Seperti rakan - rakan blogger yang lain, mereka suka mem'blog' dalam Bahasa Cina ataupun English. Kata mereka itulah bahasa yang selesa digunakan oleh mereka. Saya tidak mengerti tulisan Cina. Hal ini kerana saya berpendidikan BM ketika di bangku sekolah. Orang kata "English Ed". Tetapi kepada saya, ianya lebih baik dinamakan sebagai "Bahasa Ed". Jadi saya juga akan menggunakan bahasa yang saya selesa gunakan iaitu BM.

Hal yang ingin saya kemukakan dalam blog ini ialah sebagai rakyat Malaysia, kita haruslah menggunakan BM dengan lebih banyak, baik dalam pergaulan harian ataupun dalam penulisan (seperti yang saya lakukan sekarang) Bahasa boleh menyatu - padukan negara. (Akan saya terangkan dengan lebih lanjut dalam perenggan akan datang)

Apabila saya mengumumkan bahawa saya ingin menerbitkan blog BM, saya menerima pelbagai reaksi daripada rakan - rakan saya.

1. [YM] You will lose your readers. **** *** (name is censored for privacy purposes) will boycott ur blog <-- Saya tidak kisah pun. Nak baca, baca. Tak nak takpe. ^.^
2. [MSN] Tak nak la.. dalam BM gila la.. <-- Apa yang gila sekiranya saya menulis dalam BM? -___-
3. [MSN] Got a bit low standard feel <-- Alamak. Begini pula dia memikirkan BM pula. @.@ Tetapi sejurus itu, kami bersembang menggunakan BM dalam Msn. Cakap tak serupa bikin "cikgu" ini.
Yang seterusnya komen yang terhebat..
4. [SMS] Aku paling benci babi. U tukar bm, aku tak nak baca. Demonstate! <-- Kepada penghantar SMS ini, bukankah anda MASIH sedang membaca blog ini? ;p Sila berikan komen nanti..
5. [SMS] Good a.. <-- Satu - satunya reaksi positif yang saya dapat. Hal ini kerana dia (HE, not a SHE) pun seperti saya; "BM Ed". Terima kasih ye.. ^.^

Itulah antara reaksi TULEN yang saya dapat.

Secara jujur, saya tidak berpendapat bahawa BM merupakan bahasa yang rendah tahapnya. BM pada suatu masa dahulu merupakan lingua franca (bahasa perhubungan) di rantau ini. Sekiranya anda merasakan bahawa English merupakan bahasa yang hebat, mengapakah terdapat sesetengah pihak yang mem'blog' dalam Bahasa Cina (BC) pula? Apakah anda ingin mengatakan bahawa BC juga merupkan bahasa yang rendah tahapnya?

Itulah masalahnya. Mereka merasakan bahawa penggunaan BM akan merendahkan 'standard' mereka. They thought by using English, it will put them in a higher class? Even the Malays (those in big cities) feel inferior when you speak Malay with them. Well you know what? That's BULLSHIT!! Bahasa merupakan sejenis peralatan untuk berkomunikasi dengan pihak lain. Selagi pihak yang lain memahami mesej anda, bahasa yang digunakan adalah tidak penting! Baik Cina, Jepun, Tamil, mahupun English. Setiap bahasa adalah sama. Setiap satunya pun mempunyai keindahannya. Keistimewaannya. Kepelbagaiannya.

Antara faktor selepas 50 tahun merdeka rakyat masih tidak bersatu padu ialah BAHASA. Orang bukan Melayu gemar menggunakan bahasa ibunda mereka ataupun English dalam kehidupan harian mereka. Mereka tidak menggunakan BM langsung kecuali ketika membelanja polis minum kopi ataupun pada masa membeli nasi campur di kantin Universiti. Itu pun dalam loghat yang berat.

Terdapat juga sesetengah rakyat MALAYSIA yang TIDAK mengenali BM!!! Alamak. Hal ini saya ketahui selepas memasuki Universiti. Cantik!! Pragraduan tidak mengenali BM. Tolonglah belajar bahasa ini. Setidak - tidaknya anda boleh bertutur dalam BM dan memahami BM. Adui..

Oleh hal yang demikian, ingin saya tekankan sekali lagi bahawa BM bukanlah bahasa yang rendah 'standard'nya. Bahasa ini saya belajar semenjak saya masih kecil. Saya akan bertutur dalam bahasa sekiranya mempunyai peluang terutamanya dengan pensyarah saya di MMU. Ingatlah bahawa English bukanlah bahasa yang terunggul. Hanya kerana English merupakan bahasa antarabangsa, ianya tidak bermaksud bahawa bahasa lain adalah rendah 'standard'nya. Penggunaan BM tidak bermaksud bahawa anda akan menjadi orang Melayu! Tinggalkanlah sikap 'racism' anda dalam tong sampah!!

Editor's note : Oh ya. I am just joking when I say I will ONLY be using BM for future blogs. I was too free today. Sorry about that. But I can assure you that I will be blogging in BM at other times. Hong's Little Dairy will still be in English. ^.^

Aahhhh.. 1 week mid term holiday.. Been waiting for this very long ago.. Approximately 7 weeks ago.. Hehe

Reached home at 315pm. Once reached, I immediately set up my laptop and the television set. Wanted to spend this whole day doing nothing but..
Watching animes and dramas..
Blogging..
Eating..
Sleeping..
Oh ya.. Forget to play with my cute little old doggie pula.. ^.^

This 1 week holiday is going to be a tough one. Not as enjoyable or as relaxing as you thought. Got a lot of assignments to do, many things to study and much to blog as well. (Had been quite lazy to blog lately) Oh ya. Got a lot of things to eat as well (curry mee, mi rebus, rojak, chee cheong fun, laksa and also mum's home cooked food)
