Ahh.. Finally finish my final exams.. (1 week ago) Been super tired + stressful for the past two months.. It's time to play now.. In fact I just finish playing for a full week and I am still feeling tired now. Laugh too much + not enough sleep every night.
Friday was my bad day. 2 people "threw me aeroplane" in fact. One was for my lunch date and another was for my movie date. However it was somehow my fault so .. Hehe. All smiles now. Never plan or wanted to watch badminton as it was not my thing. However out of boredom and to avoid being alone in hostel, decided to join ChiewShi and ShiYun to watch badminton. I was in Alamanda watching Bedtime Stories at that time, though. With some "suprising" people.
Spent RM50 to buy two tickets. RM15 for Friday's quarterfinals tickets and RM35 for Sunday's finals. Worth every cent? To ChiewShi is a DEFINITELY YES but to ChitPei and me is a bit "rugi".. Our "spirit" were flying during the ladies' matches. Hehe. However we do enjoy some part of the match. ^.^
This is the look inside the indoor stadium of Bukit Jalil. In my opinion, I think it is more "untung" watching Quarterfinals than the Finals. Reason? Simple enough. You get to watch 4 matches simultaneously instead of ONE match. Plus, you still get to see those people who couldn't get into the finals. SPECIALLY dedicated to KKK + TBH. (ChiewShi don't kill me ya =p) Oh ya, and the handsome Peter Gade too. ^^
After Men's single, we decided to change our seat to a more middle seat. Almost like what you watch on television huh?
If you don't know who is playing and the current score, there is this big screen to show you. It is really REALLY big.. At least bigger than my home television. =p

So how big it is exactly? Have a look for yourself then..Enough of the courts.. Let's have a look of the fans inside the stadium shall we?
Introducing..Our Malaysian Super Big Badminton Fan Club!!! (Created the name myself.. Don't know if they have such a name or not. =p) These people are just so so so so so SEMANGAT ! ! !
Equipped with kompang, flags, whistle, T-shirts and most important --> SEMANGAT 120%. Whenever there is a Malaysian on the court, they just go crazy with their cheers and kompangs. What's more is that they also bring up the atmosphere in the stadium making each and everyone cheer, shout, clapped, jumped, sing, scream. Even the sleeping Ng Kok Hong have no choice but to join the crowd in the ecstasy mode. You should have feel for yourself the atmosphere in the stadium during the ChongWei's finals match. The crowd just go crazy each time he scored a point!!
Looks familiar? Who is she? ChiewShi a.k.a. Balloon DESTROYER!!! She crushed/destroyed/damaged 3 pairs of balloon on the first day itself. (Ganas tahap giler!!!) Meanwhile.. ShiYun, ChitPei and me had no problem with our balloons.. Hehe.Kata - kata semangat ChiewShi :
加油加油 ! 不要放弃 !
慢慢来, 不要紧张 !
Tired + Hungry of typing already. DimSum break 15 minutes ya..
Eating..
Munching...
Swallowing..
Munching...
Swallowing..
Some notes from the Malaysian Open Finals 2008.
See the girl in Purple Tshirt? That's SinYee. ChiewShi's hometown friend. Sweet looking and kind of quiet. But I don't think she is a quiet type. She just need time to open herself up. Just look at the girl in blue now.. Her pattern is almost comparable to CP and me already.. =p And thanks VinYee for being the tour guide in Sri Petaling!!!All in all, the experience of watching badminton 'live' is really something that I would treasure. I don't think I would watch a match live if not for the always-full-of-semangat-ChiewShi. N I C E memory to be stored in my memories..
